The ecolibrium wellness story

After years of working in the healthcare industry, I began to realize the significant impact of chemicals and plastic on our health and the environment. I have seen firsthand how these toxins cause harm to our endocrine system and lead to an array of health complaints. Additionally, it is increasingly apparent that our culture's reliance on chemicals and plastics isn’t sustainable for the environment. As a mother of young children, I am especially concerned about the world they would inherit and the impact these toxins would have on their health and well-being.

Determined to make a change, I began to shift my personal habits and sought out ways to help others do the same. This was when I discovered Prostainable, an organization dedicated to providing the community with sustainable and non-toxic cosmetic and household products. I am thrilled to partner with them and provide access to these safer products for my patients.

In addition to providing sustainable products, I also wanted to offer holistic wellness and beauty services to the community. As an acupuncturist and healthcare practitioner, I knew the benefits of alternative medicine and wanted to make these services more accessible. By partnering with Prostainable, I am able to offer acupuncture and wellness services to the Valley community and help people achieve a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.

I am passionate about providing natural and alternative healthcare options and making a positive impact on the environment and the health of my community. Together, we can make a difference and create a better world for future generations.

Angela Huber, DAOM, L.Ac.

My passion for health and wellness started at an early age. As a child, I was always drawn to natural remedies and holistic-minded thinking over mainstream medicine. As a competitive gymnast and athlete, I observed firsthand how daily lifestyle choices can impact performance, health, and mood in both good and bad ways.

I attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in Health Sciences. After completing my undergrad, I was unsure of how to use my degree in the real world. However, a friend introduced me to acupuncture, and I quickly fell in love with the medicine and the philosophies behind it. For me, East Asian medicine is driven by a recognition of a mind-body-spirit connection that Allopathic care acknowledges yet ignores. I pursued a Master's in Chinese medicine and Herbology at Emperor's College in Santa Monica, CA.

After completing my Master’s, I opened my first practice and decided to go back to school to earn my Doctorate in Acupuncture and East Asian medicine. During the program, I received specialized training in female reproductive health and fertility, immunology, autoimmune disorders, orthopedics and pain management, sports medicine, as well as headaches and migraine syndromes.

After a decade of working as an acupuncturist, I began to realize the significant impact that chemicals and plastics have on our health and the environment. I have seen how these toxins cause harm to our delicate endocrine system and build up to overburden our liver and cause or contribute to a variety of health problems. Additionally, it is increasingly apparent how the environment is being negatively impacted in countless ways. As a mother of young children, I am especially concerned about the world they will inherit and the impact these toxins could have on their health and well-being.

Determined to make a change, I began to shift my personal habits and sought out ways to help others do the same. This is when I discovered Prostainable, a small business dedicated to providing sustainable and non-toxic cosmetic and household products to the community. I am thrilled to partner with Prostainable and provide my patients with access to these safer products. Patients can now access Prostainable’s shop at my Woodland Hills location. I am committed to making a positive impact on the environment and the health of my community. Together, we can make a difference and create a better world for future generations.
